Owners & Founders

Amy Hoffman, President

As President of Rooster Hill Vineyards, Amy oversees all aspects of the operation. She directs the implementation of the annual business and strategic plans by supervising vineyard and winery operations, which includes all marketing activities such as, packaging, web site, brochure, events, trade shows, press relations, promotions and direct mail.

As the primary vineyard management team member, Amy oversees soil management, vine establishment, nursery relationships, cultivation practices, spray programs, varietal selection and the procurement of equipment and managing vineyard personnel.

She is also responsible for managing grower relations, monitoring vineyard practices and fruit quality of suppliers, overseeing crush pad / production activities, wine processing and quality control.

Working closely with Rooster Hill's winemaker, Amy's principle responsibility is to ensure that the utmost quality is achieved for Rooster Hill Vineyards and the customer.

She as a BA degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y., and an MBA degree from the University of California, Irvine.

David Hoffman, CFO

With 26 years in the restaurant business as owner of the restaurant his parents founded in 1956, David serves as Rooster Hill’s Chief Financial Officer.

David implements the business plan and strategic plan for Rooster Hill Vineyards by heading up the financial management team. He manages supplier relationships for the winery and tasting room, while assisting in the crush and winery operations. His primary responsibility is overseeing the retail operations, including tasting room logistics, personnel, IT systems, merchandise selection and customer relations.

David has a BS Degree in Accounting from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.
